A dramatically cooler week is expected than the record high temperatures we experiences this weekend.
A cold front moved across the Carolinas Sunday evening, bringing a sharp change in the weather pattern. Our Foothills counties, including Burke, Caldwell, & McDowell are under a Wind Advisory until Monday afternoon. Winds are expected to gust up to 50 mph across the Catawba Valley overnight Sunday into Monday morning.
Another system brings a small chance of rain on Wednesday. I am expecting low rain totals from this system, mainly under a quarter of an inch.
Colder weather moves in for Thursday, with a return to seasonal temperatures on Friday. Saturday & Sunday should feature above average temperatures.
