Warmer conditions are expected the next two days before a front brings increased chances of showers and storms for the weekend.
Wednesday is going to be nice, with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. There will be a slight chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms, but most areas will remain dry.
A slightly better chance of thunderstorms is expected Thursday as the front approaches the area, but the best chance of showers and storms will be Friday evening and early Saturday morning. I expect a quarter to a half of an inch of rain through Saturday afternoon, with some areas receiving 1 inch of rain where thunderstorms develop.
Most of the shower activity should end by Saturday afternoon, and I expect the sun to return for Sunday. Temperatures will be seasonal for Sunday and into early next week.
