Hurricane Florence remains a strong category 4 hurricane with winds of 140 mph; however, the track of Florence is less certain this evening.
Florence is continuing to move towards the Carolinas coast; however, there is concern that this storm could stall just off the Carolina coast. There is some uncertainty in the overall model forecast for Florence after 48 hours.
The current NHC forecast brings Florence inland slowly and then takes Florence slowly towards the Blue Ridge Mountains. This could change moving forward as the Cone of Uncertainty is very wide due to the slow moving nature of Florence.
I will keep you updated with any changes in the forecast track of Hurricane Florence.
