Numerous showers and storms are expected across the Carolinas this week.
The upper level low will be strong from the southwest, allowing for copious amounts of Gulf of Mexico moisture to surge into the southeast. Aloft, there will upper level energy that will help to provide energy needed to help the showers and storms develop.
The good news is severe weather should be limited due to mostly cloudy skies each day; however, flooding is possible giving the amount of moisture surging northward. Some areas could receive another 3-6 inches over the next seven days.
